Registration

How do I register?

Simply click on “courses”, the preferred “state” and then near the Login button is “create account”.

Is registration free?

Yes, we recommend to always create a free to account. We change our classes frequently so you can always check back to see what we have to offer.

Forgot your username or password?

Simply click on “account login” and then “Forgot?” near the Username or Password. You will be emailed a link to reset your information.

What if I do not know or have a license number?

Just put a “0” in the registration form.

Why is my account “inactive”?

If you have not logged into your account for 30 days or more, your account will automatically become inactive. It is easy to activate you again! Simply give us a call or text message at 612-636-6668 with your first and last name or email us at info@cosmetologyedgroup.com with a subject line of “activate”.

Payment

How do I pay for my course?

You may click on any course and make a payment online, we use Stripe as our secure processor. If you would like to make a payment over the phone, give us a call at 612-636-6668 and we will be happy to take your information over the phone and email you a receipt.

What major credit cards are accepted?

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Do you keep my credit card information on file?

No, we only keep the actual payment name, date and course name.

Can I pay by check or money order?

Yes, email us for an address at info@cosmetologyedgroup.com

What is your refund policy?

If you have not started the course, we will refund you 100%. Once you start the course we cannot issue any refunds.

Education

Can I try a course before I purchase it?

We offer a “free try it course” if you would like to see what online education is all about. This course does not offer any continuing education hours.

How do I view what course I need?

Simply click on “courses” and then the preferred “state” and you will see all of the courses offered for that state.

How long are courses valid for?

14 days from the time and day that you pay for the course.

What if I need to log out during a course?

Log in and out as often as you would like. The course will resume where you left off when you return.

Do I have to commit to a certain schedule?

No! Courses are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Do I receive Continuing Education for course?

Depending on the course, check the description prior to your purchase.

Are any courses free?

Minnesota offers a free 4 hour Teaching Methods course for Instructors called Administering the Practical Skills Test.

Can I print any course materials?

Some course materials are printable.

What if I do not see my state offered for courses?

Simply send us an email at info@cosmetologyedgroup.com and we will let you know if your state will accept our CE courses.

Completion Certificate

How will I know I have completed the course?

You will be able to download or print your completion certificate when your course is complete. You can also check your progress throughout the course and when complete it will say 100%.

How do I get my certificate?

After your class is 100% complete, you will be able to download the certificate to your device or print your certificate. If you would a personal email copy of your certificate, simply send us an email request at info@cosmetologyedgroup.com.

What if I need a duplicate certificate?

You may request one in writing to info@cosmetologyedgroup.com there will be a charge for a duplicate certificate.

Devices

What type of device do I need to use?

Our courses work most all devices, unless your device is really old. You may use your computer, tablet, ipad or mobile device.

Do I need to have any special programs on my device to view these courses?

You will need to be able to view PDF documents, YouTube videos, and Flash or an alternate plug in to view videos.

What if I need help by phone?

You will be in good hands, we have a support staff on call from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST M-Sun. If we are unable to answer your call right then, simply leave us a message at 612-636-6668 and we will call you back or email your answer as soon as possible.

What if I need help by email?

You may email us at info@cosmetologyedgroup.com as we check our email from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. CST M-Sun. We will send you and email back as soon as possible or call you if we need to. You may also send an email online through your course, simply look in the upper right hand corner of your class and click on “messages”.
